Château La Dauphine
The Chateau La Dauphine has been owned by businessman Jean Halley since 2000, it is now the 2nd largest estate in the Fronsadais,. its vineyard extends over forty hectares and is entirely south facing. Château La Dauphine is made from vines that are over 30 years old, on clay-limestone soil. It has been aged in oak barrels, one third of which are new, for twelve months. The grape varieties present are Merlot (85%) and Cabernet Franc (15%).
