The Godmé family has been at Verzenay for several generations. Nowdays, Hugues Godmé produces his champagne from his 7.5 hectares of vines placed in the localities of Villers, Marmery, Ville Dommange, Verzy and Verzenay. Hugues works his land under the principles of the biodynamic agriculture, in order to improve the quality of the land, to develop the presence and the variety of bacteria, to obtain denser and deeper vine’s roots and a better development of leaves and flowers. The champagne rests in natural warehouse 5 years as minimum before the sale.
