Always appreciated for its finesse, its bouquet and its sap, the Volnay appellation is often associated as the most subtle and elegant red wine of the Côte de Beaune. However, some terroirs nuance this portrait by presenting wines more full-bodied and vigorous. Bright ruby in colour, its aromas sing cherry, redcurrant and violet, and with age spices, game, cooked prunes. Its concentration and complexity are expressed in a delicate and nuanced way.
