Château Mauvesin Barton is located in the commune of Moulis-en-Médoc in the Gironde. It is the smallest appellation in the Médoc, situated between Margaux and St Julien. It produces AOC Moulis and AOC Haut-Médoc red wines. The surface area of the estate is 60 hectares, the main grape varieties are Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot Noir. The vineyard is managed by integrated viticulture and the soils are clay and limestone.
