Located at 327 m above sea level, the distillery is the highest in Scotland and its cold records make "the secret of Dalwhinnie" according to Bruce MacKenzie, the director of the distillery. It is the snowmelt, the source of this institution, which makes it possible to obtain unctuous and honeyed single malt. Rich in ancestral know-how, the distillery is one of the last in Scotland to use the condensation in coils making the uniqueness of its whiskey with a slightly fruity and gourmand taste.
