Owner harvesting for 5 generations and distillers for more than 150 years, Rozelieures is a French whisky distillery located in Lorraine at the foot of an ancient volcano. This distillery mainly produces single malts made by double distillation using the ancestral method. The fertile soils of this region make it possible to offer 100% local barley and their ageing can be both classic (bourbon, sherry) and atypical, highlighting the French terroir. The water used at the distillery comes from a communal borehole that pumps water to a depth of 500m below the Vittel groundwater table. Thus, whiskies are known to be of great finesse and powerful aromatic intensity.
