Description

Château Léoville Barton was created in 1826 thanks to the Irishman Hugh Barton who bought part of the Léoville vineyard. Until today, the château has remained the property of the Barton family. Today, Anthony and Lilian Barton look after the château. It is located in Saint-Julien-Beychevelle in the Gironde, in the Médoc. It consists of 47 hectares of vines, 72% of which are Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc.
