The Château Kirwan is a 37-hectare wine estate located in Cantenac in Gironde, it is now owned by the Schÿler family. It produces wines under the AOC Margaux appellation, of which it has been the 3rd classified growth since 1855. The wine is aged in barrels, 50% of which are new. The terroir is mostly composed of gravel and sandy gravel and the grape varieties present are Cabernet Sauvignon (47%), Merlot (35%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Petit Verdot (8%).
