The Neisson distillery, established in Martinique in 1932 by the brothers Jean and Adrien Neisson following the acquisition of the Thieubert habitation, quickly established itself thanks to the application of techniques of highest quality production.
In 1952, their emblematic creation, the “Zépol Karé” bottles with a rectangular design, contributed significantly to the exceptional reputation of Neisson rum. However, after the death of the Neisson brothers, the distillery experienced a period of economic decline.
In 1995, Jean Neisson's daughter, a biologist and doctor, inherited the company. Respecting her father's wishes, she passed the estate on to her son, Grégory, who is passionate about the know-how inherited from his grandfather. He took the reins of the distillery with the ambition of preserving the ancestral traditions of his family and the agricultural practices specific to Neisson rum. Thanks to his determination, he turned the company around economically and commercially, while preserving the traditional authenticity that characterizes Neisson rum. Today, Neisson agricultural rums are recognized as among the most prestigious worldwide.
