La Cave de Tain is located in Tain l'Hermitage, at the foot of the Hermitage hill, in the heart of the northern Rhône Valley. Historically present on the Crozes-Hermitage AOC, the cellar produces 4 other prestigious appellations: Cornas, Hermitage, Saint Joseph, and Saint Péray.
The Cave de Tain was created in 1933. Thanks to good management, it has deployed significant resources to have a top-of-the-range winemaking and maturing cellar and to be able to vinify parcel wines of the highest quality.
Since 2009, the Cave de Tain and the winegrowers who accompany it have been certified "Vignerons Développement Durable", the official CSR label for the wine sector today. 100% sustainable viticulture therefore, but also partly certified Organic Agriculture.
The Cave de Tain has established itself as a reference in the Rhône Valley and offers a wide range of rich and varied wines, based on the typical grape varieties of the region: Syrah for red wines, Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier for white wines.
