Description

The Château Lusseau is situated to Ayquemorte les Graves at the heart of the appellation Graves in the region of Bordeaux. Berengère Quellien is at the head of the family vineyard since 2000. Former jurist, she obtained her diploma of the Centre de Formation Agricole to manage winery.

The terroir of 7 hectares of vines is typical from Graves and allows to produce a noble fruit from which ensues a powerful wine capable of defying years. The Château Lusseau works its vineyards for more than a century in the respect for the traditional methods of culture. Pesticides are banished and the big care brought to the vineyard (manual grape harvests and mechanical weeding) are a part of  constants which characterize the know-how of the house. Products outer their ecosystem are banned for the benefit of plants which are excellent fertilizers (stinging nettles, horsetail, fern). In 2007, the certification Organic farming is then naturally primed.

The Château Lusseau produces 4 different organic wines (2 red, a white, a rosé) with the objective to produce natural wines which respects the fruit and the authenticity of the terroir.
