Château de Poncié is mainly known for two emblematic wines. The first is the "949", which takes its name from the 949 meters of altitude of Mont Brouilly. This wine is a Beaujolais cru, made from the Gamay grape variety. It stands out for its elegance, its aromas of red fruits and its beautiful structure.
The estate's second famous wine is "Les Hauts du Py", made from vines located on the plot of the same name. This cuvée is also a Beaujolais cru, known for its expressive character and its aging potential. It presents aromas of black fruits, a velvety texture and great complexity.
