The opinion of Vignapart : The vintage " Les Calans Rosé" of the Domaine de La Vallongue is an organic, fresh and fruity rosé wine from a rocky argilo-calcareous soil led in organic farming since 1985. The attack is fresh evolving on a beautiful aromatic palette which aims towards exotic fruit. Ideal as an aperitif! "
Vinification : obtained by direct pressing, cleaned out under cold conditions, low-temperature fermentation, no malolactic fermentation.

Domaine de la Vallongue is located in the heart of the Alpilles, bordering Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and Eygalières scrubland and rocks that hide Les Pierres Cassées, La Source Blanche, Les Amandiers... This 38 hectares vineyard was established in 1973 and it is now run by Christian Latouche since 2008.
Its clay-limestone soil and microclimate suitable for the vine has allowed the vineyard to convert to organic farming in 1985. Vines blossom on well-drained soils that follow the contours of the valley and enjoy the purifier mistral winds.
The Domaine de la Vallongue offers a full range of red and rosé wines. The rosés are bled and the red wines have the peculiarity of being fermented with different vines to better express the “terroir”. The wines are recognized and distinguished regularly at professional tastings.
