The opinion of Vignapart :" The vintage "Tradition" is an affordable Bio wine which presents a crisp fruit and fresh tannins for an immediate pleasure."

Château Cots is located at Bayon-sur-Gironde about thirty kilometers from Bordeaux on a muddy argilo-calcareous soil. This vineyard of 15 hectares, led by Remi Bergon benefits from a good South West exposure. The grape varieties, 35 years old on average, are Merlot (65%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Malbec (15%) hence the name Château Cots ( Côts is the second name of the grape variety Malbec). Soil labor, traditional, is in sustainable tillage and weed. The vineyard is in the hands of the family since 1930 and passed to organic farming about ten years ago. The grapes are carefully sorted, followed by a long maceration of 5 to 6 weeks. The wines are then aged in french oak barrels.
Wines of the domain are a part of the best of the appellation Côtes de Bourg. Young, these wines can be tasted for their fleshy and strong aspect, or after a few years which will bring them delicacy and elegance.
