The Pero Longo estate is a Corsican vineyard that has been biodynamic since 2000. The quality of the harvested grapes is more important than yield. Indeed, respect for the terroir and for nature is one of the estate’s key values. The vines are cultivated without the addition of fertilizers or pesticides, allowing the terroir to express itself at its best. Pierre Richarme has chosen to vinify both his white and red wines in egg-shaped vats, a symbol of birth. This ovoid shape creates gentle, natural movements that keep the fine lees in suspension, giving the wines greater richness, roundness, and complexity.
The estate produces a wide range of red, white, and even rosé cuvées, using traditional Corsican grape varieties.
