The Château Roland La Garde is located on the label Blaye - Côtes de Bordeaux in the municipality of Saint-Seurin-de-Cursac. Led by Bruno Martin since 1990, 29 hectares of vineyards that his father had started were planted on soil of character with a good exposure. On arrival, Bruno transformed the vineyard and the winery to be able to produce a great wine.
He loves nature and protects the plant species present on the field. His father and him have always tilled the soil and have never considered using chemical herbicide. The transition to organic farming was only a step. Bruno Martin has also inspired the practices of biodynamic, and he obtained the Demeter certification in 2014.
The 29 hectares of vineyards date back twenty years on average and are composed of 74% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 6% Malbec. These typical Bordeaux varieties produce three organic wines with their own characters.

Complex and sweet red fruits
The wine is great! Not very tannic or full-bodied to make it a little easier to drink but still very complex with sweet notes on the nose and well rounded and developed dark fruit flavors in the mouth. Great paired with goat cheese and charcuterie.
