The first Bulleit bourbon was created by Augustus Bulleit, wanting to develop a bourbon with a unique flavor. He then experimented with different recipes until he found an atypical and tastiest whiskey. This recipe, passed down for 5 generations was taken up by Tom Bulleit and is internationally recognized for its quality. Kentucky rye as well as water filtered by limestone and aging in oak barrels make the richness and flavor of Bulleit bourbon whiskeys. This family affair has been able to impose itself on consumers as a must and discover a whiskey with a toasted and vanilla nose with notes of delicious caramel and dried fruit.
