- Burgundy - Viré Clessé - White - 75cl
- Appearance : golden yellow, bright green highlights
- Nose : Complex and powerful, with stewed white fruits
- Palate :Powerful and round, with woody, empyreumatic notes and gunflint, long finish
The opinion of VIGNAPART : "The cuvée « Quintaine, La Chapelle St Trivier » comes from old vines that produce very rich wines, thanks to an ideal exposure (east-facing hillside) and soils composed of white limestone and grey clay. The attack is direct, the palate supple, with a persistent, saline finish that is characteristic of the terroir"

The Montbarbon Estate, located in Viré in Southern Burgundy, cultivates 13.5 hectares of Chardonnay. Its wines mainly come from the Mâcon-Villages and Viré-Clessé appellations, along with a Blanc de Blancs cuvée. The estate practices sustainable viticulture, avoiding chemical herbicides and carefully working the soils. It produces both blended and single-vineyard cuvées, showcasing the diversity of its terroirs. In 2023, it strengthened its commitments by obtaining the “Vignobles & Découvertes” label and launching a bottle reuse initiative.
