  • Scotland - Single Malt Whisky - 70cl
  • Appearance : Medium amber with golden reflections in the glass.
  • Nose : Rather discreet aromas, delicate character, punctuated and quite fruity. Rapidly increases in volume and intensity.
  • Palate : Dense, sweet and slightly minty. Then evolves towards drier aromas and green apple notes.

The opinion of VIGNAPART : "Oban Little Bay is a malt with a delicate character, which quickly develops dry aromas with a strong taste reminiscent of its original terroir. The finish is long, persistent, and gourmet with some chocolate notes."

Description

The city of Oban is a Scottish city located in Argyll County, it is a very important old port and is perfectly sheltered. The Oban distillery is known to be the smallest in Scotland. It belongs to the Diageo group just like Talisker or Dalwhinnie. Founded in 1794, the distillery was built by the Stevenson brothers. Due to a lack of space between the cliffs and the sea, Oban's activity has remained nestled around his distillery. This natural limitation to its expansion explains why the distillery has always had a little trouble meeting an ever-increasing demand.
