The opinion of Vignapart : "The Médoc du Chateau Hourbanon is a very structured, fresh and pleasant wine to drink with supple and silky tannins. It goes well with many of your meals, whether red meats or sauces, but also with grilled meats, cheese and dark chocolate desserts."

Château Hourbadon has existed since 1893 and extends over 12 hectares. It was taken over in 1974 by Rémi Delayat with the desire to offer a quality terroir. This respect for the terroir and quality was taken over in 1997 by their son Hugues, who changed his father's agricultural land by first offering a reasoned cultivation before converting to organic farming and a manual harvest. These strong values are reflected in the production process as its wines have received numerous medals such as the Gilbert and Gaillard Gold Medal and the 70 Million Tasters Gold Medal for the 2012 Medoc.
