- Appearance : deep red
- Nose : complex, ripe fruit, vanilla
- Palate : complex, full, silky tannins, licorice, roasted, woody
The opinion of VIGNAPART : " The Vintage Grande Cuvée of the Domain Valambelle is a powerful and warm wine with a complex and smooth mouth. The tannins are pleasant, silky and accompanies aromas of small fruits black and afforested."
Vinification : Manual harvest in small box, sorting of the harvest, stalking, long power cuts, long fermentation, aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels. Unfiltered.

The Domaine Valambelle, led by the Abbal family since nearly 30 years, is located in the middle of nature with mediterranean vegetation at the borough of Laurens having a Faugères designation. The 23 hectares are planted with grape varieties of Languedoc: Syrah, Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre and Cinsault. Its schistose soil, very typical of the region, has steep and sunny slopes. Low yields, the “terroir” preserved by organic farming, harvesting by hand and careful cellar give concentrated wines with aromas of spices and “garrigue”.
