Winemaking : Manual grape harvests, wine making in separate vine, pellicular maceration on three vines, cold must, fermentation with its native yeasts, under control of the temperatures, old-looking 4 months in half-hogsheads of locust tree.

The Domain of Turenne is a family wine-making property from the beginning of the 20th century. It is from 1990 when Philippe and Cécile Benezet started to lead the winery that the cellar was created allowing making the wine entirely for the property from 1994.
Philippe discovered very fast the natural wine without sulphur added. After some tries, he worked with the idea to introduce the minimum of SO2 into wines. Thus he pays attention on the quality of the grapes, on the rigorous sorting of what is put in tank and of the general hygiene of the wine storehouse and the cellar. To accompany this "natural" approach, he undertakes in 2000 the conversion of the domain in organic farming. Today he holds the good formula : organic grape, native yeasts and low dose of sulfur.
The result of this meticulous work is wonderful : wines are fine in nose and in mouth, with long length and a persistent acidity.
