The Domaine de Saint Paul is located since 1934 in the prestigious appellation Châteauneuf -du -Pape. In the decade of the 80s , the vineyard managed by the Jeune family was equipped with a cellar for storing wine . Then in the 90s , the winery was built and a bottling system was installed Currently, Christophe and Isabelle Jeune direct the production of 14 hectares planted with old vines over 40 years old of diverse varieties : Grenache , Syrah , Cinsault , Mourvèdre and Muscardins (a local grape ) for red wines and white Grenache, Clairette and Roussanne for whites.
This vineyard , recently converted to organic farming , is divided into different parcels: Pied Redon, Combe, Palestor the Relagnes the Boucou and Coulets . The particularity of the " terroir" of the Domaine de Saint Paul is the presence of large pebbles storing the beneficial action of the sun during the day and releasing it at night. Grapes have a high degree of maturity and the particular nature of power and "bouquet". The wine is made in a modern winery composed of wooden tanks and an aging cellar in half barrels and oak barrels.
