The opinion of Vignapart : "Philippe Goulley's Chablis Réserve is a lively and mineral wine that has the amplitude and power of the greatest vintages of the appellation. Its aromatic palette is subtle."
The Domaine Philippe Goulley (or Jean Goulley & son) was founded by the Tremblay family in the 1950s. It covers several hectares at < strong>Chablis in Burgundy. Philippe Goulley played a pioneering role by converting his estate to organic agriculture in 1991, thus making it the first organic estate in Chablis. In 2022, his daughter Maud took over the general management of the estate. The vines benefit from living soils, and vinification is mainly done in stainless steel vats for fresh and incisive wines, but some Chablis Premier Crus and Chablis Village are aged in old Burgundy barrels, bringing greater complexity. The wines are made with indigenous yeasts and are suitable for vegans, without products of animal origin.
