  • Appearance : Golden yellow with orange highlights, intense and shimmering
  • Nose : Expressive, powerful and spontaneous with notes of dry fruit, orange, peel and spices
  • Palate : Fat and tight with a nice acidity and spicy notes

The opinion of Vignapart : "This Pinot Gris Altenbourg is a generous sweet white wine, which, in the mouth, is exceptionally thick and viscous. We tend to want to drink this very balanced white wine now, but it still deserves to age for a few more years."

Description

The Albert estate, located in Alsace, more precisely on the lands of Wettolsheim, is the work of the association of two winegrower families, the Mann and Barthelmé.

This vineyard, which aims to produce wines with respect for the land and the grapes, now has 23 hectares of vines organised in hundreds of small gardens on which five great growths, two localities and one Clos are cultivated in a monopoly in organic and biodynamic farming. Certified in organic agriculture in 2000 with the Ecocet label, this desire to produce biodynamic wines began in 1997 on three great vintages and was later extended to the rest of the estate. Since 2010, this vineyard has been undergoing certification by Biodivin.
