- France - Bas-Armagnac - 70cl
- Appearance : dark amber
- Nose : aromas of candied nuts, vanilla, dried fig and chocolate
- Palate : creamy, notes of spices and vanilla, pleasantly balanced
The opinion of VIGNAPART : "From a blend of three grape varieties aged in oak barrels, the 17-year-old Bas-Armagnac from Château de Lacquy offers a remarkably expressive and soft nose, revealing captivating notes of candied walnuts, oak, of vanilla, dried fig and chocolate. On the palate, its mature complexity is revealed with a loaded structure, leading to a long and creamy finish, enhanced with nuances of spices and vanilla. Its perfect balance and accomplished maturity make it a fully satisfying tasting experience."

The Château de Lacquy, a typical Gascon family estate, is much more than just a producer of Armagnac, with diverse activities including cereal and vegetable farming.
The chateau itself, erected in 1777 on the foundations of an old manor house, was renovated in 1910 to include the north and south pavilions.
Its cellar, built in 1876, is constructed in a traditional manner with materials such as stone, wood, and tiles, providing optimal conditions for the aging of Armagnac thanks to its natural ventilation system and effective insulation. The estate, surrounded by a park containing oaks dating back to the reign of Louis XV, serves as a true nature reserve where wildlife thrives, offering an exceptional ecological setting for the cultivation of vineyards dedicated to Armagnac production.
