Description

Founded in Bangalore, southern India, in 1948 by Shri J.N. Radhakrishna, the Amrut distillery quickly established itself as a major supplier to the Indian army after independence of the country.

Since 2004, it has been distilling a single malt with a unique character, growing its barley at the foot of the Himalayas. Thanks to its cellars located at an altitude of 1000 meters, offering exceptional aging, Amrut has acquired worldwide fame.

Despite its expansion in 2018 with new stills and a 5,000-barrel cellar, the distillery maintains its authenticity, with more than 500 people participating in every step, including the manual labeling of each bottle.
