- Scotland - Single Malt Whisky - 70cl
- Appearance : bright gold.
- Nose : Rich, soft and light. Notes of malted barley, fresh grass and white flowers.
- Palate : Slightly dry while remaining fresh, fruity flavours (lemon, grapefruit), wood and malted barley. In the end, a few buttered notes.
The opinion of VIGNAPART : "This 12-year-old Glenkinchie is a single malt that offers a beautiful discovery of the Scottish Lowlands region. It is equivalent to the 10-year version and shows a beautiful maturity and a beautiful aromatic balance. With its brilliant golden colour, the nose is soft and suave, the palate is silky and creamy and finishes with vegetal aromas and astonishing warmth. The malted and floral barley aromas are very present. The result is a rather light, subtle and sophisticated whisky, but which enhances a very linear aromatic palette."

Located in the town of Pencaitland in Scotland, it is one of the last three active whisky distilleries in the Lowlands. Founded in 1820 by brothers John and Geroges Rate, it was only in 1881 that it really began its activity. 100 years later, in 1988 Glenkinchie will see the entry of its distillery into the classic malts of Diageo's ancestor, United Distillers.
Today, this distillery belongs to the Diago group and the female master distiller (quite rare for a woman!) is Flay Fleming: about 1 300 000 litres of whiskies are produced each year.
