The opinion of Vignapart : "The Domaine of Sirus is a full vintage of the Castle La Croix Martelle. This red wine (bio) stemming from young plots of land reveals a remarkable liveliness of elegance, sweetness and fruity and spicy flavors."

€14.50The Château La Croix Martelle is located at Siran at the heart of the terroir of the Minervois La Livinière (AOC) characterized by its flat slopes on the small limestone plateau. This recent protected designation of origin appeared in 1998 and concerns 6 municipalities, Siran is one of them.
Catherine and Michel Vincent decided to acquire the property in 2010 convinced of the extraordinary potential of this exceptional terroir which has a particular climate, warm from April to the end of October, associated with calcareous and red grounds of black schists, marls, and hard limestones.
In addition, the 20 hectare vineyard is led in organic farming since 1998, what makes it one of the oldest biological vineyards of Languedoc. The vineyard converts into wine every plot of land separately. Grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted out.
After picking off, grains are put in Burgundian wooden tanks for the progress of the alcoholic fermentations 3 in 5 weeks, with a manual cap-punching twice a day. Red wines are then raised during one year.
