The opinion of VIGNAPART: "The red wine Château La Dauphine 2015 is a great Bordeaux vintage from the Fronsac appellation, its supple, round and voluptuous palate suggests a very good ageing potential."
The Chateau La Dauphine has been owned by businessman Jean Halley since 2000, it is now the 2nd largest estate in the Fronsadais,. its vineyard extends over forty hectares and is entirely south facing. Château La Dauphine is made from vines that are over 30 years old, on clay-limestone soil. It has been aged in oak barrels, one third of which are new, for twelve months. The grape varieties present are Merlot (85%) and Cabernet Franc (15%).
