The Domaine de l'Épinay, located in Clisson in the south-east of the Nantais vineyard, is an old Spanish property from the 16th century. Operated by the Paquereau family since the 1900s, it gradually shifted towards viticulture under the direction of Albert and Odile from 1973. The children, Cyrille and Sylvain, took over in 2000 and 2006.</ p>
Committed to the diversification of grape varieties and direct sales, they set up a new cellar in 2015. The estate, certified Terra Vitis since 2011, extends over 55 hectares, with nearly half dedicated to Melon de Bourgogne, the historic grape variety of Muscadet.
The diversity of the 14 varieties of grapes gives rise to 26 unique vintages, combining tradition and modernity. Domaine de l'Épinay is also strongly committed to the recognition of Cru Clisson, thus affirming its commitment to quality and respect for the environment.
