Coming from a long line of winemakers established in Restigné for several generations, Jean-Marc Pichet founded the Domaine du Petit Bondieu in 1976. Driven by the same passion, his son Thomas joined him in 1995 before taking over the estate in 2012.
Now leading a team of five, Thomas Pichet continues to develop the family estate, balancing respect for tradition with a forward-looking approach, while maintaining a constant focus on quality. His commitment, rigor, and the excellence of his wines were recognized in 2018, when he was named Winemaker of the Year by the Guide Hachette.
The estate continues to evolve: in 2020, the tasting room was completely renovated to welcome visitors in a warm and contemporary setting. In 2021, the winery was expanded to support the growth of the vineyard and to enable even more precise and optimal winemaking conditions.
