The Château Saint-Cyrgues is a wine estate located in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, in the south of France. It is known for producing top quality wines, using organic cultivation methods.
The estate is located on the hills of the city of Nîmes and extends over 53 hectares in the town of Saint-Gilles, on the road to Montpellier, between Saint Gilles and Vauvert. It is a place steeped in history which was on the passage of many pilgrims going to Compostela. The estate is located on the old road that linked Saint-Gilles to Spain.
The grape varieties grown are mainly Merlot, Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Marsalan, for red wines, as well as Viognier, Chardonnay, Roussanne and Grenache Blanc for white wines.
Chateau Saint-Cyrgues produces a variety of red, white, and rosé wines as well as an orange wine, all carefully crafted and described as elegant, complex, and balanced.
