- Rhône - Châteauneuf-du-Pape - Red - 75cl

- Appearance : pale gold
- Nose : stone fruits, acacia honey, floral notes
- Palate : rich, ample, subtle woody
The opinion of VIGNAPART : "This white Châteauneuf-du-Pape of great finesse opens with lovely notes of stone fruit (peach, apricot), hawthorn and touches of acacia honey. On the palate is rich and ample, structured by a subtle woodiness. The finish of great depth is carried by liveliness."

The story begins in Roman times when a Roman legionnaire named Giglius built a Roman temple which was subsequently destroyed and rebuilt as a priory in the 14th century, the second residence of the Bishop of Avignon.
It is on these lands that Château Gigognan vinifies its wines. With 110 hectares of vines in the heart of the Rhône Valley between Avignon and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château Gigognan is a historic wine estate of Provençal heritage. It produces wines in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Signargues, Côtes-du-Rhône Villages and Côtes-du-Rhône appellations in red, white and rosé. Their wines, all strong in their unique temperament, embody the respectful expression of their terroir and reflect their organic farming culture.
