  • Scotland - Single Malt Whisky - 70cl
  • Appearance : Light amber.
  • Nose : Fresh notes of sherry, very slightly peaty without it being too powerful. Gourmet notes of chocolate, honey and spices. Light floral aromas.
  • Palate : Powerful spicy aromas and an astonishing accumulation of malt. Precise and balanced. Fruity notes are then felt in the middle of the mouth.

The opinion of VIGNAPART :  "This Dalwhinnie Distillers Edition is a whisky of great aromatic richness: dominated by sherry, aromas of spices, peat, fruit and oak wood are added. On the nose, this single malt will only be slightly peaty but on the palate a spicy complexity and a dry woody finish will be felt."

Description

Located in the north of Scotland, the Dalwhinnie distillery is famous for these whiskeys combining tradition and control of their environment. Located at 327 m above sea level, the distillery is the highest in Scotland and its cold records make "the secret of Dalwhinnie" according to Bruce MacKenzie, the director of the distillery. It is the snowmelt, the source of this institution, which makes it possible to obtain unctuous and honeyed single malt. Rich in ancestral know-how, the distillery is one of the last in Scotland to use the condensation in coils making the uniqueness of its whiskey with a slightly fruity and gourmand taste.
