Awards : The winery was founded in the eighteenth century by consultants of the French Count King of Mauny and was originally dedicated to the simple sugar industry. It was not until 1820 that the first bottle of rum made from fresh sugarcane juice from the plantation was sold. It was a success, and even aroused the interest of the family of Josephine of Pohané!
