The opinion of Vignapart : "Clos Basté Pacherenc-du-vic-bilh is a soft white wine with a beautiful shape and a good balance between sweet and acidity. Small Manseng delivers crystallized aromas of exoptical fruits in style which allies freshness and tenderness. It is long, very long in mouth!"

Description

The Clos Basté is located in the village of Moncaup on the part of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques of the Madiran appellation. Oenologist Philippe Mur and his wife bought the house Basté and they recreated the vineyard with the ambition that it remains an important place for wine of Vic-Bihl. The Clos Basté grows ten hectares of vines in the greatest respect for the land and the environment. Handpicking, low yields (45hl/ha), long maceration and aging in oak barrels give corpulent wines with a nice roundness. These wines appreciate time.
