The Domaine des Gandines, led by Benjamin and Robert Danachet is located on the slopes of Macon at the village of Clessé. Certified Organic Agriculture (AB) since 2006, this 10 hectare vineyard is covered with old vines aged on average 60 years old and is based on an exceptional clay and limestone soil. Soils are enriched with natural compost and tilled to promote microbial activity. All work on the plots is hand-made.

The wines are made with the same care: handpicking, slow pressing without crushing or de-stemming, cold settling, natural yeasts, and aging up 12 to 24 months in oak barrels, half barrels and burgundian barrels.

The wines are expressive, complex and with a great finesse.
